Internationally renowned jazz artists come to Munich from 7th to 11th of August 2007 to teach and give concerts during the first JazzExperience. The yearly music event fosters talented jazz newcomers and is organised by the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences. The top-class musicians and the combination of master-workshops and concerts makes JazzExperience a one-of-a-kind event in southern Germany.

About 80 jazz enthusiasts will be accepted to the workshops with the masters. The focus is on intensive work on how to interact and function in a band. Every night, results can be demonstrated in jam-sessions in the jazz club “Unterfahrt” and the “Night Club” of the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. The best band will be awarded with the JazzExperience prize.

Also the workshop leaders will give concerts every night under melodious names such as “From Mingus ToDay”, “The Grand Trio” and “Brazil Night”. Even more, they will present new arrangements developed during JazzExperience as premieres. Following musicians have confirmed until now:
